Symptoms of uterine polyps

Symptoms of uterine polyps include abnormal uterine bleeding, menstrual abnormalities, etc. Some patients may also have no obvious symptoms. Uterine polyp is a kind of redundant organism attached to the uterine lining and able to grow into the uterine cavity, most of the uterine polyps are benign. Patients with uterine polyps may have menstrual abnormalities, such as prolonged menstrual periods, increased menstrual flow, and shortened menstrual cycles; irregular bleeding between menstrual periods; or postmenopausal vaginal bleeding, bleeding after coitus, or contact bleeding. Patients with small uterine polyps or solitary polyps may also have no obvious clinical manifestations.
