Will an allergy heal itself without medication?

It is possible for an allergy to heal itself without medication. Allergies are allergic inflammatory reactions caused by various causes and can involve different organs such as the skin, respiratory tract, digestive tract, and eyes. If the symptoms are mild, it can be cured by itself; however, if the symptoms are severe, immediate hospitalization is required. The cause of allergy is complex and the first step is to identify the allergen. If the symptoms are mild, such as mild redness and itching of the skin, they can usually heal on their own after removing the allergen and avoiding local irritation. If the symptoms are more severe, such as skin redness, swelling, erosion and exudation, oral anti-allergy medication, such as paracetamol, keratan, cetirizine, etc., and local wet compresses with boric acid solution should be used to promote recovery. If patients develop symptoms such as airway obstruction, breath-holding and chest tightness, they need to be admitted to hospital as soon as possible to avoid asphyxia, which may lead to death. Allergic patients should try to avoid spicy and stimulating foods such as onion, ginger, garlic, strong tea, coffee, etc. They should also avoid contact with beef and mutton, seafood, eggs, milk, etc. It is also important to maintain good rest as well as sleep along with diet regulation in order to promote recovery.
