Fetal heart monitoring is usually started at 32-34 weeks of gestation and repeated at 1-2 week intervals. In high-risk pregnancies, fetal heart monitoring is started after 28 weeks of gestation, while the frequency of fetal heart monitoring is increased. Fetal heart monitoring is not done before 28 weeks of gestation because of the poor intrauterine rhythm and the small gestational age. If the pregnant woman has other combined diseases, such as combined diabetes mellitus during pregnancy, combined hypertension during pregnancy, combined thyroid function abnormalities during pregnancy, it is recommended to start fetal heart monitoring after 28 weeks of gestation and do fetal heart monitoring once a week to ensure timely detection of fetal distress or other dangerous conditions. Before doing fetal heart monitoring, pregnant women are forbidden to overeat, drink drinks containing caffeine, keep good rest, relax, keep emotional stability, use medication carefully, and it is recommended to do it after 1 hour of walking or eating.
