How long does it take for a baby’s formula allergy to heal itself?

Usually, babies with milk powder allergy can heal themselves within 6 months. If you find that your baby has diarrhea, eczema and other allergic symptoms after eating formula, you should immediately stop eating the formula you are currently consuming so that your baby can excrete the allergens out of his body through his own metabolism and the allergy will slowly heal itself. During this period, you can give anti-allergic deeply hydrolyzed milk powder or pure amino acid formula. After 1-2 months of consuming anti-allergic amino acid formula, you can replace it with deeply hydrolyzed protein formula for about 3 months, and then switch to partially hydrolyzed protein formula, and finally you can gradually return to full protein formula. If you do not change the formula and continue to feed the allergy causing formula, your baby’s allergy condition will continue and will not get better or heal itself. In addition, after the baby’s allergy, the formula should be replaced in a healthy state, such as a cold, fever and other respiratory diseases, or nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and other gastrointestinal symptoms can not be replaced, otherwise it is more likely to cause intolerance to milk powder, causing indigestion or allergy phenomenon.
