Grasp the three stages of fetal brain development

Many mothers-to-be want their babies to have the best and smartest brain development, constantly supplementing with vitamins, milk, calcium tablets, DHA, etc. During pregnancy, how exactly do we handle the best brain development for our babies? We want to tap into the potential and intelligence of the baby, we must first understand the process of its brain development. And the first stage of brain development is from fetus to birth. According to statistics, when a baby is born, the brain already has about 10 to 18 billion brain cells, which is close to that of an adult. Therefore, it is very important to train and stimulate the fetal baby’s brain development during this period of pregnancy. The three “peak periods” of brain development of fetal babies: 1. 3 months, the first peak period of brain cell development. 2. At 4-5 months, brain cells are still at their peak and occasional memory traces appear. 3.At 6 months, the sulcus appears on the surface of the brain and the hierarchical structure of the cerebral cortex is basically set. With 14 billion brain cells, the brain has the number of brain cells for a lifetime. Different “strategies” are used at different times. 1. Before the third month of pregnancy, take balanced nutrition to provide a good environment for the fetus to nurture. Studies have shown that the initial primary neural tissue is produced from the interaction between the mesoderm and ectoderm on the 18th day after egg fertilization. In other words, the neuroectoderm forms about day 19 after egg fertilization, which is also usually the stage when the mother finds out that conception has been successful and the brain tissue of the fetal baby begins to form when she is sure she is about to become a mother. If the mother-to-be wants her fetal baby’s brain to develop well, she must provide a good nurturing environment for it during pregnancy. The most important thing is to have a good rest, to eat less and more, to take balanced nutrition and so on, which will help the development of the fetal baby. In addition, if you have unhealthy habits, you must quit them during pregnancy. Smoking and drinking can easily deform the fetus and lead to harelip, low IQ, etc. 2, 4-5 months of pregnancy, timely fetal education. The first time I saw this was during the fourth month of pregnancy, when the fetal baby’s hearing and vision systems developed one after another, and the mother-to-be began to feel the fetal movement. 20 weeks later, the development of brain cells became more and more complex, and this is the most effective time for the mother to interact with the fetus, and it is the most suitable time to give the fetal baby good stimulation, so that he can form a good neural circuit and help the brain cells to gradually develop in a benign way. In the 4th-5th months of pregnancy, it is best for the mother-to-be to provide daily fetal education to her baby. In the early stages, you can start with touch and sound fetus education, first give the baby a cute nickname, simple dialogue and touch, so that the baby familiar with the voice of the mother and father, feel the love of the mother and father. In addition, music fetal education, art fetal education, association fetal education, etc. are also very good fetal education methods to enhance the baby’s artistic sense and intelligence, the mommy-to-be can try. 3, 6 months of pregnancy, appropriate stimulation of the baby’s nerves. The fact that the mother-to-be is getting bigger and bigger after 6 months of pregnancy may make it difficult to move, but at this time, proper exercise is still very necessary. During this time insist on walking, walking, doing maternity exercises or yoga, etc., can moderately stimulate the vestibular sense of the fetal baby and promote development. If the vestibular stimulation is insufficient, later the baby will be born and the coordination of movements will be affected. 4, after 24 weeks, his brain has been further developed, can already understand the external sound. The mother-to-be can go for a walk in nature, so that the baby can feel the beauty of nature; you can also attend some fetal concerts, visit art exhibitions and libraries, so that the baby receives cultural enrichment. After 28 weeks of pregnancy pay attention to the fetal intrauterine development, and actively prevent various pregnancy complications, do well in these three important periods, the baby’s brain development will not be affected by adverse factors, and of course the delivery process is a test of the fetal brain!
