Determination of partial rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament and whether to operate

Whether or not to operate for an incomplete ACL injury (called a partial ACL rupture) should depend on the following: 1. clinical presentation to see if you have knee instability, if you feel unstable, a partially ruptured ACL should be operated on. 2. Physical examination: An experienced surgeon will determine from the findings whether the ACL has an anterior internal bundle (AMB) or posterior external bundle (PLB) rupture. 3. Imaging changes: Please see the imaging characteristics of partial ACL rupture on my website, so it is not surprising that continuity exists. It is not difficult to determine whether the ligament is partially ruptured and whether surgery is needed. It should be emphasized that for the management of partial rupture, outpatient consultation and personal examination by the doctor is very important.
