Can yellow water from the navel heal itself?

Yellow water in the navel is usually not self-healing and is mostly a symptom of navel infection, mainly due to inflammation or infection of the navel, which will gradually worsen if left untreated. As the navel area is prone to dirt and grime, it is easy for bacteria to grow and irritate the skin causing inflammation, most commonly caused by staphylococcus bacteria. In the case of umbilical cord infection in newborns, it may be due to contamination during the ligation of the umbilical cord after birth or contamination by feces or urine; in the case of umbilical cord infection in adults, it is mainly because the umbilicus is mostly depressed and has more folds, where metabolic sebum and dust adsorbed by clothing are stored. It is recommended that newborns follow strict aseptic operation when having their umbilical cords broken, and that utensils and umbilical cord ligatures be strictly disinfected and treated with 75% medical alcohol every day.
