The relationship between the occurrence of dermatitis eczema and the high or low immunity of the organism is not answered in modern medical immunology. According to the explanation of medical immunology, the occurrence of eczema is related to the abnormal immune response of the body to a variety of factors inside and outside the body. It is called abnormal because the result of these immune responses produces skin damage visible to the naked eye (allergic skin disease) in some parts of the body (patients). Immunogens (allergens) are everywhere around us and constantly stimulate the body to produce a variety of immune responses, but a normal person may have a well-established immune regulatory mechanism so that those immune responses that are harmful to the body do not cause damage to the body. Therefore, I personally believe that the occurrence of dermatitis eczema is related to abnormalities in the immune regulation of the body’s skin. This abnormality, in turn, is related to the individual’s genetic background and the environment in which he or she lives. The diagnosis of dermatitis is based more on the further identification of skin pathological changes and eczema triggering/causing factors. For example, we call contact dermatitis caused by exposure to allergens; contact dermatitis is a classical type IV hypersensitivity reaction in modern immunology. Those caused by drugs are called drug dermatitis (drug rash), those associated with individual genetic qualities of the patient and with early onset are called atopic dermatitis, etc. In some patients with dermatitis eczema, some indicators of immunological abnormalities can be detected by modern immunological tests, such as elevated total blood IgE, the presence of specific IgG against an allergen, etc.
