Who are the susceptible groups for tuberculosis?

  People who are susceptible to tuberculosis are called susceptible people. Generally speaking, all people are susceptible to TB.  The most important susceptible groups are: (1) close contacts of infectious TB patients. (2) Colleagues, classmates or workers who have close contact with infectious TB patients and are in the same office, classroom or workshop; (3) People with low immunity are also susceptible to TB infection: people with diabetes, silicosis, HIV infection or AIDS, long-term users of immunosuppressive drugs, such as organ transplant patients, adolescents and (4) People who go from low endemic areas to high endemic areas to work or study, such as teenagers who go from remote minority areas to big cities to work or go to school; (5) Detainees who have close contact with infectious tuberculosis patients and are in the same prison cell.
