Electronic monitoring of fetal heartbeat and review of ultrasound should be performed to understand the fetal condition in the uterus. If ultrasound examination shows obvious pressure marks on the skin of the umbilical cord entanglement, such as U-shaped pressure marks on the umbilical cord entanglement for 1 week, W-shaped pressure marks on the umbilical cord entanglement for 2 weeks, or jagged pressure marks on the umbilical cord entanglement for 3 weeks or more, plus frequent variable decelerations in the fetal heart monitoring, which cannot be relieved by oxygen and changing the position, the pregnancy should be terminated according to medical advice.
