Tears of the intraoral ligaments are usually recovered in 5-7 days if there are no other special circumstances. The intraoral tethering is mainly divided into labial tethering, buccal tethering and lingual tethering. The labial and buccal tethering is located between the alveolar ridge and the labial and buccal mucosa, and the lingual tethering is located at the midline of the mandibular floor of the mouth. If the ligament tear is not serious and there is no obvious and large amount of bleeding, no special treatment is usually needed and most of them will heal slowly in 5-7 days. If the patient is unable to determine the extent of the ligament tear, consider going to the oral surgery department for examination and treatment. If there is a lot of bleeding and the fracture is deep, consider clearing and suturing under local anesthesia, and generally remove the stitches for 5-7 days after surgery to recover. It is recommended that during the healing period of intraoral ligament tear, maintain good oral hygiene, which can be combined with the use of mouthwash to prevent infection; eat lightly and avoid spicy and stimulating food; do not always pull it to avoid causing delayed healing of the wound.
