The most obvious symptoms of abdominal infection are the following: first, pain, the patient’s abdomen will be significantly distended, sometimes with unbearable pain, related to the causative factors that cause abdominal infection, but also related to the severity of the infection. Second, fever, the patient can appear elevated body temperature, or even chills, high fever symptoms. Third, gastrointestinal symptoms, such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal distention, poor exhaustion and defecation. Fourth, the patient will have a markedly distended abdomen with a bulging sound on percussion, suggesting paralytic intestinal obstruction. After the discovery of abdominal infection, it is necessary to go to the hospital as soon as possible to improve the relevant tests, such as blood routine, C-reactive protein, abdominal ultrasound or abdominal CT, and give anti-inflammatory drugs for treatment. In some cases, surgical exploration is required to remove the infected tissue, such as the appendix or other tissues and organs.
