Why do I get dizzy when I turn over while lying down?

If vertigo occurs when turning over while lying down is a postural problem, the more common causes include the following two aspects: 1. cervical spondylosis: when cervical spine degeneration or hyperplasia compresses blood vessels, it will affect the blood supply to the brain, and too violent a movement or too large an angle when turning over can cause blood vessels to be compressed, resulting in impaired blood supply to the brain and causing dizziness; 2. otolithosis: that is, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, which occurs because the small otolithic structures in the ear fall off their original position, move and impact the inner ear system, resulting in vertigo.
