Can warts be ruled out after 12 weeks of high-risk sex with no symptoms in the mouth?

A 12-week period of high-risk sex with no symptoms in the mouth does not rule out warts.
Warts are mainly found in sexually active groups and are caused by human papillomavirus infection. The incubation period for warts is usually 1-12 months, with an average of about 3 months.
Condyloma acuminatum mainly occurs in the male glans, coronary groove, urethral orifice; female labia majora and minora, vaginal orifice, clitoris and other parts, the oral cavity, breasts, between the toes and other parts outside of the genitals is less common. Therefore, 12 weeks of asymptomatic oral cavity is usually not able to rule out condyloma acuminatum.
If the patient has a high-risk sexual life or human papillomavirus infection, it is recommended to go to the hospital for timely treatment.
