Can pregnant women use budesonide nebulizer

Generally avoid the use of budesonide during pregnancy unless necessary. If it must be used, medical supervision is required. Although inhalation of budesonide in pregnant women has not been shown to increase the risk of fetal teratogenicity through a large number of samples, the possibility of teratogenicity cannot be 100% ruled out and budesonide may cause hyperalgesia in the newborn, therefore, pregnant women should try not to use budesonide if not necessary. Budesonide belongs to the glucocorticoid class of drugs and is used clinically for the treatment of glucocorticoid-dependent or non-dependent bronchial asthma and asthmatic chronic bronchitis. Women who require nebulized inhalation therapy after pregnancy can use saline to moisten the airway and appropriately replace budesonide to alleviate the progression of the disease, as well as to relieve the symptoms of coughing and to reduce the redness and swelling of the tonsils. If the condition is not relieved and budesonide inhalation is really needed, it needs to be nebulized under the guidance of a doctor. After inhalation of budesonide nebulizer, the face and mouth should be cleaned promptly to avoid fungal infections.
