Is allergic conjunctivitis treatable?

Allergic conjunctivitis is equivalent to the “itchy eyes” and “itchy eyes” in Chinese medicine. Typical symptoms are unbearable itching of the eyes, accompanied by discharge, tearing, and burning sensation, often recurring in spring and autumn. Western medicine considers allergic conjunctivitis as an allergic reaction to the conjunctiva caused by exposure to allergic antigens, which is mainly a type I reaction mediated by IgE. It is mainly treated with anti-allergic drugs, but can only control the allergic symptoms and suffers from the inability to cure. Chinese medicine treats this disease through evidence-based treatment, which can not only get rid of the cause, but also reduce the inconvenience and discomfort caused by frequent and long-term eye drops or eye ointments. After years of clinical practice, I have combined the identification of disease and evidence and concluded the method of Chinese medicine for treating this disease, which has alleviated the pain and brought good news to many patients.
