Sandblast scaling is a method used in our market in recent years, which uses special sandblast tooth powder (sodium bicarbonate powder as the main ingredient) and sprays to the tooth surface through the sandblast handpiece to remove plaque and pigment. This method is suitable for cleaning plaque and pigment in the interdental spaces that are not easily accessible by ultrasonic scaling machines. Sandblasting scaling uses high air pressure to mix water and biological sea salt and then blasts them at a distance of 3mm from the tooth surface to achieve a cleaning effect. It removes pigmentation and soft scale caused by tobacco, tea stains, coffee and other beverages while polishing the teeth and restoring their natural luster. Sandblast scaling can not only polish the tooth surface, but also polish between the teeth, where the biological sea salt has a bactericidal and anti-inflammatory effect, which can effectively eliminate gum inflammation, and the polished tooth surface is not easy to attach plaque and pigment, which is currently a good method to remove pigment and plaque, but ultrasonic scaling is very effective for large pieces of tartar, so ultrasonic and sandblast scaling each have their own range of adaptation, combined with the use of the best results.
