Can Chinese medicine cure smog?

Smog is a rare disease that has emerged in the last century, and its distinctive features are ischemic and hemorrhagic, so it is also often associated with cerebrovascular disease. Up to now, no significant results have been obtained on the formation of the specific cause of smog, and medical experts have only speculated that it may be related to genetic factors or may be an occlusive cerebrovascular disease due to a variety of acquired causes. In fact, regardless of the cause, there is no full scientific basis to prove it. The effects of smog on the human body can be multifaceted, with mild symptoms such as dizziness, weakness, aphasia, and hemiparesis, and severe symptoms such as subarachnoid hemorrhage, intraventricular hemorrhage, or intracerebral hemorrhage, which can be seen to be extremely harmful. In addition, clinical studies have also found that the disability and mortality rates of smog are high, and therefore, the treatment of smog has become a proposition of special concern to patients and experts at present. It is well known that traditional Chinese medicine is profound and long-standing, and has a profound and wide influence in China because it can cure many diseases. However, for rare cerebrovascular malformation lesions like smog, TCM can only alleviate the symptoms to a certain extent through acupuncture therapy, and cannot reverse the brain arteries that have been narrowed or occluded. In fact, in addition to TCM, drugs cannot repair the lesion from the root. The current accepted treatment for smog is to build another blood flow channel through surgery in order to effectively cure the disease. Currently, combined vascular bypass surgery can be a good solution to the problem of obstructed blood supply to the brain in smog. Combined vascular bypass surgery firstly connects the extracranial blood vessels directly with the intracranial blood vessels to establish new blood flow channels, which can immediately inject fresh blood into the ischemic brain tissue; secondly, the vascular regeneration ability of the temporalis muscle, dura mater, middle meningeal artery, cranial periosteum and other tissues can be used to form some new blood vessels, which can provide more abundant blood flow to the brain tissue and target to solve the smog lesion tissue.
