1. Early stage (1-6 weeks after surgery) ① Start plantarflexion and dorsiflexion of the plantar toe joint of the affected foot on the first day after surgery, and perform contraction and relaxation exercises of the quadriceps muscle of the affected limb. On the third postoperative day, change the medication locally, check and disinfect the wound, and remove the blood crust around the wound. The affected limb can be elevated in bed under plaster fixation. ③On the 5th postoperative day, the affected limb should be moved to the ground with the help of crutches without weight-bearing activities. ④Wound sutures were removed 2 weeks after surgery. (5) Knee extension and flexion exercises and quadriceps strength exercises were started 3 weeks after surgery. The cast was removed daily and the Achilles tendon area was soaked with local Chinese medicine, followed by massage of the Achilles tendon, lifting and pinching of the skin at the Achilles tendon, and increasing the dorsiflexion and plantarflexion of the ankle joint as appropriate. (6) Ankle extension and flexion exercises should be performed with a roller 4 weeks after surgery. The rollers should be seated on a bed or chair of appropriate height. The length of the roller should be 30-1000px and the diameter should be 10-375px, and the activity should be performed 1-2 times a day for 20-30min each time. (7) At 6 weeks after surgery, remove the short plaster cast and walk in shoes, During this period, the dorsiflexion and plantarflexion range of motion is close to normal; you can participate in office work. ⑧ This period should prevent falls and sudden stirring action on the postoperative Achilles tendon strain. 2.Middle term (7 weeks-3 months after surgery) ①Walk on the ground with the full foot to practice ankle extension and flexion activities, so that the range of motion of the ankle joint is completely normal. ②Start to practice the strength of the calf triceps muscle, first practice bipedal heel lifting, then gradually increase the burden of the affected limb, and finally transition to unipedal heel lifting and a small range of squatting exercises, gradually restore the function of normal human activities. 3.Later (4-6 months after surgery) ①Continue to practice single-footed heel lift to correct the residual ankle plantar flexion or dorsiflexion disorder, and start to jog with the whole foot on the ground to gradually restore the flexibility of the ankle joint and the muscle strength and circumference of the calf triceps. ②The athlete can participate in small-volume training. After 6 months, if the strength and circumference of the calf triceps are basically the same as the healthy side, the athlete can resume various sports before the injury.
