In recent years, the development of imaging medicine, radiofrequency technology and computer technology has provided the conditions for minimally invasive treatment of trigeminal neuralgia under the guidance of imaging intervention, and radiofrequency thermocoagulation and temperature control has become the main method for the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia. Radiofrequency thermocoagulation and temperature control is to insert radiofrequency electrodes percutaneously into the trigeminal nerve hemimelia, and after the electrophysiological stimulation is verified, the radiofrequency current is turned on to selectively destroy the nociceptive fibers with a certain temperature thermocoagulation, while preserving the tactile fibers, so as to achieve the effect of both long-term termination of pain and no nerve necrosis.
