How can labial adhesions be treated?

Vaginal adhesions are partial vaginal atresia with chronic inflammation causing local granulation and scar formation, which in severe cases affects the elimination of menstrual blood. Incomplete vaginal atresia is often the result of scar contracture narrowed by birth injury, corrosive drugs, surgery or infection, leaving only a small hole in its center, and the low position of the atresia can affect sexual life. During pregnancy, the scar can be congested and softened with the progress of pregnancy. If there is only a mild circumferential or semi-circular stenosis, the prelabour section has a continuous dilatation effect on the circumferential scar after delivery and can often overcome this obstacle and complete the delivery. In terms of daily life, the following points should be noted to prevent vaginitis: 1. Wear less tight or snug pants such as jeans, and wear skirts or loose pants in summer. Also avoid wearing tight nylon underwear and choose cotton underwear. 2. To reduce irritation or allergies, you should use unscented sanitary products and avoid using sanitary napkins or hand towels with added aromatics. 3. Do not use any kind of liquid to clean the vagina, as this will destroy the internal environment of the vagina and lead to vaginitis. 4. Some women are worried about dirtying their underwear with leukorrhea or are too lazy to wash their underwear, so they always use sanitary pads on weekdays. If you are not menstruating, try not to use sanitary pads. You can wash your vulva with water and change your underwear every night.
