Vertigo is a common symptom in the clinic, if the symptoms of vertigo appear, the first thing is to seek medical attention in time and carry out the corresponding departmental treatment for the cause, as follows: 1. The most common cause of vertigo is cerebrovascular disease, if acute cerebral infarction, i.e. cerebral thrombosis, is diagnosed after CT, MRI and other examinations, intravenous thrombolytic therapy can be carried out if it is within the time window, i.e. 3 hours or 4.5 hours for golden treatment. If the time window is missed, embolization treatment can also be performed, and the time window for this measure is within 6 hours. If the head CT suggests acute cerebral hemorrhage, if the bleeding volume is not particularly large and there is no indication for surgery, the main thing is to control blood pressure and reduce cerebral edema. If the amount of bleeding is relatively large, craniotomy should be performed. 2. If no acute cerebrovascular disease is detected by cranial CT or MRI, the next step is likely to be to clarify whether the cause is otogenic. The otogenic cause will be accompanied by tinnitus and hearing loss, so we have to go to the ENT department for further electric audiometry and other related examinations. 3. Some internal diseases can cause vertigo, such as severe anemia, and we have to go to the hematology department, for example, chronic obstructive pulmonary emphysema causes respiratory difficulty and decreased blood oxygen, so we need to see the respiratory department. It is suggested that patients should pay attention to systematic examination, carry out formal consultation and treatment, and find the correct cause and then reasonably diagnose and treat.
