How many years a patient with thymic cancer metastasis can live is generally not accurately determined, and needs to be assessed comprehensively based on each patient’s treatment, physical strength score, etc., but in general the survival time of patients is relatively short.
Once the metastasis of thymic cancer occurs, it means that it is a middle or late stage patient. If it is an intermediate stage patient who can undergo radical surgery, some of them can be cured after additional postoperative radiotherapy and have a survival period of more than 5 years. However, most of them have disease recurrence and metastasis after surgery, and can only take chemotherapy, targeting, radiotherapy and other treatments, and the ones with good effect seldom exceed 5 years, and most of them only have 2~3 years.
If the patient is in the advanced stage, the physical score is poor, can not do chemotherapy, targeted and other treatments, then the patient may only have 2~3 months of survival time.
