Children’s Ibuprofen Granules

Pediatric ibuprofen granules are a commonly used emergency fever-reducing medication, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, and an over-the-counter antipyretic and analgesic drug. Pediatric ibuprofen granules can be used for fever caused by common cold or influenza, mainly to treat fever and pain in babies. If the axillary body temperature of children is higher than 38℃, they need to use antipyretic drugs in time. Children with body temperature over 38.5℃ can take ibuprofen granules orally, which can be taken 4 times a day to achieve the effect of reducing fever, while using physical cooling, such as warm water baths, alcohol baths or using forehead antipyretic patches, can bring down the baby’s body temperature to normal. Avoid the occurrence of febrile convulsions due to the poor development of the baby’s central nervous system. In addition, pediatric ibuprofen granules also have some pain-relieving effects, which can relieve headache, joint pain or muscle pain in children with fever. However, it should be noted that if the child is allergic to other NSAIDs or asthmatic children who are allergic to aspirin, the use of pediatric ibuprofen granules is prohibited to avoid adverse reactions. It is important to keep warm and avoid getting cold, and it is recommended to go to less crowded places to prevent children from poor resistance and getting infected with germs.
