What is pediatric enuresis?

Children often wet the bed, not only the child is nervous and upset, parents also become anxious and do not know what to do. What exactly is the case of pediatric enuresis? In recent years, the definition of pediatric enuresis has been unanimously agreed by domestic and foreign pediatric and urological scholars as involuntary bedwetting at night or night and day in children aged 4 or 5 years or older. It is mostly seen in children under 10 years of age. Modern medicine generally divides into two types: functional and organic. Functional common causes include: sudden shock, excessive fatigue, change of new environment, loss of parental care, incorrect habits, etc. Common organic causes include pinworm infection, occult spina bifida, prepuce, myelitis, spinal cord injury, epilepsy, underdeveloped brain, small bladder volume, etc. Most pediatric enuresis is functional. For functional enuresis, the acupuncture therapy in traditional medicine is clinically effective. Parents can take their children to the acupuncture department for treatment during the winter and summer holidays.
