It is not to blame that people do not know much about pancreatic cancer, because it is not a very common disease and many people do not know much about its treatment methods. If there are any uncomfortable symptoms in the body and pancreatic cancer is detected in the hospital, they will be very nervous and afraid.
1.Chemotherapy: generally used for advanced patients after surgery or unresectable, including neoadjuvant chemotherapy, post-surgical adjuvant chemotherapy, intraperitoneal chemotherapy, arterial infusion chemotherapy. For patients with pancreatic cancer after radical surgery, postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy can improve patients’ survival rate; for patients with advanced pancreatic cancer, chemotherapy can significantly improve recent efficacy, increase local tumor control rate, improve survival quality and prolong life. This is a common treatment method for pancreatic cancer.
2.Biological therapy: This treatment method for pancreatic cancer can specifically kill tumor cells of pancreatic cancer patients, activate human immune mechanism, enhance human immune ability, remove residual tumor cells and metastases in pancreatic cancer patients, achieve the purpose of controlling tumor growth and preventing tumor recurrence, and has almost no side effects.
3.Radiation therapy: In recent years, relevant studies have shown that it can improve the surgical resection rate, reduce the positive rate of lymph node metastasis and significantly improve the survival rate of pancreatic cancer patients. However, radiotherapy has no advantage in improving the long-term efficacy of pancreatic cancer patients, and it will bring greater side effects to pancreatic cancer patients, which is sometimes difficult for patients to tolerate. This is also a common treatment method for pancreatic cancer.
