Generally intrapulmonary infections take 7-10 days to reach a state of healing, about five days for mild cases and 15-21 days for severe cases. When a patient is diagnosed with pneumonia after clinical symptoms and relevant ancillary tests, the infecting causative microorganism should be evaluated and the corresponding treatment should be given according to the infecting causative microorganism. The treatment is either oral antibiotics or intravenous antibiotics, depending on the condition. If the patient shows recent mycoplasma antibody and chlamydia antibody quadruple elevation, the infection is considered to be atypical pathogenic bacteria and can be treated with azithromycin, erythromycin, levofloxacin and other related drugs according to the condition.
