Small bowel transplantation and multi-organ cluster transplantation in the abdominal cavity is the technical peak of abdominal surgery and is recognized worldwide as a very challenging and difficult clinical technique. During my long career as a surgeon, I have chosen small bowel transplantation and abdominal multi-organ cluster transplantation, the most difficult technique in abdominal surgery, as my area of expertise. I went to the Institute of Organ Transplantation at the University of Pittsburgh in the United States to study under Professor Abu-Elmagd, the world’s most famous expert in small bowel transplantation and abdominal multi-organ cluster transplantation and the president of the International Society for Small Bowel Transplantation, and after returning to China, under the guidance of Academician Li Jieshou, I made significant improvements to the key techniques of small bowel transplantation, making small bowel transplantation a After returning to China, under the guidance of Academician Li Jieshou, he made significant improvements to the key technology of small intestine transplantation, making a major breakthrough in China. He is the author of a series of management and operation specifications, treatment guidelines, technical access and follow-up system for small intestine transplantation in China. He is one of the few doctors in China who can perform small intestine transplantation independently, and is also the doctor who has performed the largest number of small intestine transplantation cases and the best quality of surgery in China. He has been invited by organ transplantation journals to write several reviews on “Small Bowel Transplantation: The Coming of Age”, “History, Status and Prospects of Immunosuppression Protocols for Small Bowel Transplantation”, “Key Surgical Techniques for Small Bowel Transplantation”, reviewing the current development of a series of key techniques for this extremely difficult clinical technique.
