What are the manifestations of nasal vestibulitis?

Rhinovestibulitis is a diffuse inflammation of the skin of the nasal vestibule and is classified as acute. Chronic. It is mostly caused by acute or chronic rhinitis, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, nasal secretion stimulation, or long-term exposure to harmful dust, or bacterial infection secondary to digging the nostrils with the fingers. The inflammation is evident in the lateral part of the nasal vestibule and can be unilateral or bilateral. In the acute stage, the nostril is slightly painful, the local skin is red, swollen and painful to touch, and in severe cases, the skin is eroded and covered with a thin scab, which can extend to the upper lip skin in severe cases. In the chronic stage, the skin of the nasal vestibule is itchy, dry, with foreign body sensation, accompanied by burning and tenderness, local skin thickening, and nasal hair is sparse due to shedding.
