What causes moles in the scrotum

Moles actually arise due to localized accumulation of melanocytes, but moles can actually appear anywhere in the body, like on the palms of the hands, arms, face, and pubic area. There is actually no very specific reason for a mole to appear anywhere. In some cases, moles may appear locally because the area has been previously traumatized, so local pigmentation has formed. Usually a mole in the scrotal area is not something that patients need to carry out special worry about. If there is no special change in the mole for a long time and there is no obvious sensation, no obvious protrusion of the skin, or pain, there is usually no malignant change present. Patients who fear malignancy can be closely monitored. If the mole shows obvious changes in shape and size within a short period of time, the patient should come to the dermatology department of a regular hospital for consultation.
