Itchy corners of the eyes can be caused by exposure to allergens or lesions of the eye itself. It is common in eye conditions such as canthal blepharitis, immune conjunctivitis, viral blepharitis, contact dermatitis, dry eye, entropion, etc. Foreign body irritation, contact lens wear and medication stimulation can all cause itchy eyes. In addition, itchy eyes are associated with environmental allergen exposure, lack of eye hygiene, visual fatigue and overuse of the eyes.
