How are multiple intracranial aneurysms treated surgically?

Multiple intracranial aneurysms account for approximately 20% of intracranial aneurysms, and treatment options may include a single operation to solve the entire problem if multiple aneurysms can be clamped in one approach. If the aneurysm is located on 2 sides of the skull, surgery is first performed on the bleeding side, or on the side with a high estimated bleeding potential. The other side is chosen for elective treatment. In this case, we have multiple aneurysms with bleeding on the left side, so the left middle cerebral aneurysm is clamped first.
