Identification of common red eyes

  Red eyes (i.e. eye congestion), there must be a reason, the common ones are as follows:
  1, infectious inflammatory red eye: can also be subdivided into bacterial, viral, fungal, protozoal ……..
  ① general congestion is continuous, until the inflammation subsides;
  ②The congestion is mainly in the conjunctiva of the upper and lower domes (far from the black eye);
  ③ bright red color;
  ④ slightly decreased visual acuity;
  ⑤ Foreign body sensation in the eye, stinging pain;
  ⑥More secretions;
  2.Glaucomatous red eye:
  ①Generally, congestion is relieved when the IOP decreases on its own or is controlled,
  (2) Glaucomatous red eye: ①Generally, the congestion will be relieved when the pressure drops or is controlled;
  ③Dark red color;
  ④Significant loss of visual acuity;
  (⑤) Swelling or severe pain in the eye; in severe cases, nausea and vomiting;
  ⑥No obvious discharge;
  3.Iris ciliary inflammatory red eye:
  (1) The duration of congestion is generally relieved as the inflammation subsides or is controlled by itself,
  ②Congestion is mainly in the conjunctival congestion at the corneal limbus (near the black eye);
  ③Dark red color;
  ④Visual acuity loss is obvious;
  ⑤ vague pain and tenderness in the eye;
  ⑥No obvious secretion;
  4. Dry eye or lid gland dysfunctional red eye:
  ① Generally, the duration of congestion is variable, commonly occurring after prolonged use of the eyes; after exposure to sand, irritating gases, smoke, poor night sleep or lack of sleep, etc. It may subside with the washing and moisturizing effect of face water.
  ②The congestion is characterized by diffuse, no focus area;
  ③The color is lighter, with poor luster, a little smudged, and a feeling of lack of spirit;
  ④Visual acuity can fluctuate slightly, but not significantly;
  ⑤ dryness of the eye, foreign body sensation, but no obvious pain, nor tenderness;
  ⑥No obvious secretion;
  5. Subconjunctival hemorrhagic red eye: This disease is not part of ocular congestion, but it also manifests as red eye.
  ①General red eye for 5-10 days, common in the elderly, suffering from hypertension, blood disorders, infectious diseases, high fever, etc.. It can even appear in patients who sneeze, cough violently (such as children with whooping cough), rub their eyes, or have dry stools.
  ②The congestion is characterized by limitation, with a focal area, and there is a gradual fading of color and a gradual increase in area during the course of the disease;
  ③The color is thicker in the early stage and gradually lighter after a few days, and the area gradually becomes larger;
  ④No change in visual acuity;
  ⑤ No discomfort in the eye;
  ⑥No discharge;
  6, traumatic red eye: there is a clear history of trauma, easy to identify.
