Surgical treatment is usually evaluated one to three months after basic treatment, and periodontal pockets are still larger than 5mm, requiring bone trimming, bone grafting, treatment of root bifurcation lesions, gingival reshaping, crown lengthening, etc. Surgical treatment is required. After the periodontal condition is stabilized by the above treatment, the necessary orthodontic implant restorative treatment is required to facilitate the maintenance of long-term results. The above treatment can stabilize the condition and control the development of the disease, but it is not the end of treatment, and long-term maintenance treatment and regular review and retreatment should be carried out.
