The breech position within 30 weeks of gestation can usually be converted to normal head-first position on its own without treatment; after 30 weeks of gestation, the breech position can be converted to normal head-first position by lying on the chest and knees, acupuncture, moxibustion or laser irradiation of the Zhiyin point, or by external transfer of the fetus depending on the situation. For some cases where the breech position cannot be corrected, a breech vaginal delivery or a caesarean section will be required depending on the actual situation at the time of delivery.
