What should I do if my myopia is getting worse?

  Patients with myopia are depressed and harmful to their eyes, and if the prescription deepens further, it will undoubtedly cause irreparable regret to their vision.  How to deepen myopia?  (1) good reading habits: reduce fine close reading, keep the eye distance of about thirty-five centimeters, every reading forty minutes to an hour to rest five to ten minutes. When resting, you may want to go out for a walk and look far away to help your muscles relax.  (2) Reduce myopia environment: look far away more often, especially now that the week is closed for two days, you can use the holiday to go to the countryside.  (3) Maintain a healthy body: pay attention to balanced nutrition, moderate exercise and rest. (6) Ciliary muscle relaxation treatment: For pseudomyopia caused by excessive ciliary muscle tension, medication can be used to relax the ciliary muscle for the purpose of reducing the number of degrees. As for the real myopia, it cannot be reduced. However, it can slow down the progression of myopia. Studies have found that without medication and proper prescription, myopia will increase at a rate of more than one degree per year. Therefore, proper prescription of glasses and medication can control myopia from increasing too fast.  (7) Prevent eye strain: Avoid long hours of close work. In addition to adequate rest for the eyes, sufficient sleep can reduce eye fatigue.  (8) Good reading environment: including: proper lighting, good paper quality, clear printing, appropriately sized fonts, and appropriate table and chair height.  (9) Watching television is based on the following principles: the television set is placed slightly below the eye line of sight; the distance between the eyes and the television set is five to seven times the diagonal of the television screen; indoor lights should not be turned off; the image of the television screen needs to be clear; every thirty minutes to take a five-minute break, you can use the commercial breaks to close your eyes or get up and walk.
