Penile lengthening is divided into relative and absolute lengthening. Relative lengthening is to cut the superficial suspensory ligament of the penis to release the proximal corpus cavernosum to achieve lengthening effect. Relative lengthening is suitable for patients with small penis in normal people, and generally can lengthen more than 2 cm. If combined with enlargement surgery, the effect is even better. Absolute lengthening is penile reconstruction surgery with autologous tissue. This surgery is suitable for patients with penile defects due to trauma, penile defects after tumor surgery, congenital penile dysplasia or small penile deformities.
