Armpit odor is a hereditary disease, its genetic odds are generally unchangeable. 6-10% of boys in our yellow normal population have armpit odor, as long as one parent has armpit odor, the chances of the child having armpit odor are about 50%, and the chances of the child having fox odor if both parents have it are 100%. I would like to share the advantages and disadvantages of several procedures with my fellow patients. Over the years, I have done many years of armpit odor surgery, and the number of patients is about 2000-3000 cases. In comparison, the most thorough method is axillary odor excision and minimally invasive axillary odor peeling, both compared to minimally invasive axillary odor peeling than axillary odor excision, the overall excision of the axillary skin although simple and easy but basically will leave a five-inch-long scar, change the recovery period of up to 1 month or more. Some of them even affect the function of arm lifting because of the scar pulling. And individual armpit hair is more, sweat gland distribution is more extensive patients, the surgery is not possible to cut that large range, cut more skin sewing is not close, the surgery may not be complete. Minimally invasive axillary odor stripping has many advantages: the surgery is relatively safe; the incision is small; the surgery time is short (as long as about 30 minutes); the wound recovers quickly (7-10 days); only inconspicuous scars remain after recovery, and will not affect the movement of the arm. This situation of minimal or disappearing armpit hair after the surgery is an unexpected surprise for some ambiguous women – they don’t have to go for armpit hair removal anymore. Minimally invasive armpit surgery done in our hospital is basically non-recurring. Another word of advice: laser surgery, microwave therapy, as well as local closure therapy, sweat gland scraping, etc. have varying degrees of recurrence and should not be chosen. As for topical medication, it is only a temporary and conservative treatment method, and you should not believe in some subjective propaganda like “*monthly clear” and “*day please”.
