Symptoms and diagnosis of uterine fibroids

What are the symptoms of fibroids? Early symptoms of fibroids depend on where the fibroids are growing. If the fibroids grow under the mucosa and project into the uterine cavity, you will experience increased menstrual flow. If the fibroids are not submucosal and the fibroids are small, many patients do not have any obvious symptoms. If the fibroids are large, or if the patient is found late, the large fibroids may develop vitelliform degeneration or cystic degeneration, and these patients remain asymptomatic. Some patients with fibroids during pregnancy or puerperium may experience abdominal pain. Diagnosis of uterine fibroids The diagnosis of uterine fibroids relies mainly on ultrasound and gynecological examination.
