What are the symptoms of uterine fibroids?

Symptoms of uterine fibroids: 1. Changes in menstruation First, the menstrual cycle is unstable, either long or short, and the period is longer than normal. Secondly, the volume of menstruation is more than usual, and the vagina often bleeds irregularly. 2. Discomfort in the abdomen There is pain in the abdomen, a feeling of swelling and fullness, sometimes a feeling of falling, and a lump can be felt in the lower abdomen when lying down. 3.Abnormally increased leucorrhea The leucorrhea in the vagina increases suddenly, more and with foul odor, sometimes there is a lot of pus and blood discharge, or even rotten flesh-like tissue. 4.Unusual discomfort Sometimes abdominal pain, a feeling of falling in the lower abdomen, swelling and uncomfortable, or involving the lower back pain, abdominal pain and fever and occasionally severe pain. 5. Compression symptoms The growth of fibroids in front and behind may compress the urethra and bladder, so patients with fibroids often feel frequent urination or have difficulty in urination; some also compress the rectum, leading to constipation, etc. When fibroids grow on both sides, they form broad ligament fibroids, and when they press on the urethra, they often cause water retention in the ureter or renal pelvis; when fibroids press on the pelvic vessels and lymphatic vessels, they can cause edema in the lower limbs of patients. When fibroids compress the fallopian tubes, it often affects ovulation or hinders the discharge of eggs; sometimes it also leads to deformation of the uterine cavity, so that the fertilized egg cannot be laid normally, thus becoming infertility.
