Hemangiomas are benign, true tumors that are capable of resolving on their own. The natural course of the disease is through a proliferative phase, a receding phase and a complete receding phase. The management principle of non-proliferative hemangioma is follow-up and observation. Oral corticosteroids are not recommended as the first choice of treatment: (1) 1-8 weeks, oral prednisone (3.0-5.0mg/kg), not more than 50mg in total, once every other day in the morning, for 8 weeks; (2) reduce the dosage by 1/2 in week 9; (3) 10mg in week 10; (4) 5mg in week 11; (5) stop in week 12; (6) if needed 2-3 courses of treatment, can be repeated at 4-6 weeks interval. 2.Interferon alpha-2a: can be used for severe hemangioma. 3.Pingyangmycin tumor cavity injection (1)spot injection; (2)once in about 10 days; (3)single time less than 8mg, children(1/4-2/3); (4)superficial hemangioma of skin mucosa, concentration(1.0mg/ml); (5)deep submucosa hemangioma of skin, concentration(1.5-2.0mg/ml).
