Moles that protrude from the skin can be removed. Nevus is a dark pigmented mole, which is formed when melanocytes gather and form nests in the skin. Depending on the location of the melanocytes in the skin, it can be categorized into junctional nevus, mixed nevus, and intradermal nevus. Generally speaking, mixed nevi and intradermal nevi tend to be elevated on the surface of the skin, and only a small number of junctional nevi can be elevated on the surface of the skin. Most of the nevi can be left untreated, but for those that affect the appearance and psychology of the patients, as well as those with serious symptoms or malignant tendency, surgical excision can be given, and for smaller nevi, laser and liquid nitrogen freezing treatment can be used. Nevus of different sizes, locations and degrees of severity can be treated differently, and should be evaluated by a doctor after standardized treatment.
