Causes of chest pain and hiccups

If the patient is accompanied by chest pain and hiccups, the patient may have coronary artery disease, angina pectoris, along with functional dyspepsia. Patients are advised to take oral isosorbide mononitrate, aspirin, mosapride tablets, metoprolol and other drugs first to help improve symptoms. Along with the treatment, the diagnosis should be further clarified, and patients are advised to perform electrocardiogram, cardiac ultrasound and chest X-ray. In some patients, if the chest pain is accompanied by shortness of breath and wheezing, the presence of some degree of right heart failure cannot be ruled out. Patients with right heart failure may also present with symptoms of the gastrointestinal system. In such patients, a BNP test can be performed in combination to help further clarify the diagnosis, and the patient is advised to relax and pay attention to regular work and rest. In some patients, cardiac neurosis or disturbances in the regulation of vegetative nerve function may also induce symptoms of precordial discomfort with hiccups and other abnormalities.
