Are warts cured when they don’t come back for 5 months?

No recurrence of warts for 5 months does not necessarily mean that they are cured. Condyloma acuminatum is a sexually transmitted disease caused by HPV (human papillomavirus) infection, which manifests itself in the appearance of light red, corns or papillae-like growths on the patient’s genitals as well as in the anal area, and there may be breakage and bleeding on the surface. After treatment with physical therapy and surgery, the lesions may disappear, but there is a probability of recurrence. Warts are generally considered to be clinically cured when they are removed after treatment and no new warts appear for 6 months. So 5 months without recurrence is not enough to confirm that it is cured. It is recommended that patients with acromegaly should follow the doctor’s instructions for regular review after treatment.
