How long does it take for red acne marks to disappear?

Red acne marks on the face usually do not need to be treated and allowed to fade on their own, usually gradually in about 3-6 months. Some may take more than six months to fade by 7-12 months, and some fade in less than 2 months. Of course, if there is a delay in fading, manual intervention can be used to promote the fading of acne marks. Topical creams can be used, choosing Adapalene gel or Mucopolysaccharide polysulfate cream. If the ointment still has no significant effect, laser treatment, such as fractional laser or hydrolaser treatment, can be used.
