Treatment of nosebleeds in the elderly

As spring comes and the weather turns warmer, the types of illnesses among the elderly are changing. The consultation rate of chronic bronchitis, slow obstructive pulmonary disease and coronary heart disease has decreased; however, more elderly patients are being consulted for rhinorrhea and more recurrent rhinorrhea. It brings serious psychological pressure and fear to the patients. They do not even dare to lie down, dare not go to the toilet, dare not move around indoors, dare not eat meat for fear that something is wrong and bleed again. The ruptured vessels of nasal bleeding in the elderly are often the posterior segment of the nasal cavity, mostly from the nasal-nasopharyngeal venous plexus or the posterior nasal septal artery, which bleeds ferociously, is not easy to stop, and has a recurrent nature. Because the bleeding vessels are often located in the posterior segment to clearly find to and stop bleeding work brings no small difficulties.
