What to do if you fall and loose a tooth

The loosening of the tooth after a fall may be due to tooth concussion or tooth fracture, which needs to be examined by radiographs, and according to the situation, the tooth will be fixed or treated by root canal treatment or extraction.
1. Tooth concussion: the teeth by external impact may cause periodontal membrane damage, resulting in mild loosening of the teeth, generally need to be adjusted to fix the observation, the teeth will gradually restore stability.
2. Fracture: tooth loosening may also be caused by tooth root fracture, root fracture and gingival sulcus traffic needs to be adjusted first fixed observation, if the pulp necrosis or pulpitis symptoms, the need for root canal treatment. If there is pulp necrosis or endodontic symptoms, root canal treatment is needed. If 1/3 of the root neck is fractured and the gingival sulcus is in communication with the tooth, thus it cannot be retained, the tooth needs to be extracted.
The loosening of the tooth in the fall is recommended to go to the hospital in time to take pictures to check the condition of the tooth and deal with it in time, so as to avoid causing symptoms of endodontitis.
