Can a loose tooth shake itself down?

The causes of loose teeth are complex and may be related to external injuries, osteomyelitis of the jawbone, periodontitis, and many other diseases, and no matter which factor causes loose teeth, they cannot be shaken down on their own.
Shaking a loose tooth and trying to shake it down may cause more damage to the gums, roots and other parts of the tooth, and may be accompanied by unbearable pain. Even if the tooth can be shaken down, it may cause localized bleeding that is difficult to stop quickly. After the tooth has been extracted, it may also become infected, exacerbating osteomyelitis and even leading to infections in other areas.
Whichever the cause of the loose teeth, randomly shaking the teeth may aggravate the condition, or even cause other oral diseases. It is recommended that patients with loose teeth seek medical attention in a timely manner and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
