How to treat microvenous malformations of the oral and maxillofacial vessels?

Hemangioma and vascular malformation are two different lesions with completely different clinical manifestations, courses and regressions. They should not be confused with each other. Microvascular malformations include: 1) erythema or wine spots; 2) microvascular dilatation; 3) spider nevus; 4) a combination of various vascular malformations with multiple organ involvement. Treatment methods: Various laser treatments are mainly used. Krypton ion laser (413nm) is the best means to treat micro-venous malformations. It is a non-thermal photodynamic therapy that uses a laser with a wavelength that matches the photosensitizer, thus avoiding the formation of skin trauma and achieving the goal of selectively destroying the deformed micro-vein and protecting the surrounding normal tissue structure. Note: Avoid direct sunlight and bright light within 48 hours of treatment.
