How long can I wash my face after mole removal

How long can you wash your face after mole removal depends on the method of mole removal, the size of the local wound after mole removal and your own recovery condition, and cannot be generalized. There are many causes of pigmented nevus, which can be divided into junctional nevus, mixed nevus and intradermal nevus. Clinically, according to the size of pigmented nevus, different removal methods can be chosen, such as laser, electrocautery, freezing or surgical excision. The time to wash your face after mole removal depends on the size of the trauma, the method of mole removal and your own recovery condition. In case of surgical excision, you can wash your face 3-5 days after the stitches are removed and the incision heals well. If it is laser mole removal, the wound will gradually heal and scab, and after the scabs fall off naturally (do not scab yourself), you can wash your face routinely, which usually takes about 1-2 weeks. In case of cryotherapy, local blisters or even large blisters may appear, so you should wait until the blisters dry and the scabs are removed before washing your face. Since the first healed wound is usually thin and tender, use a soft face towel and be gentle when washing your face. If the mole removal wound is small, you can wipe other non-traumatic areas with a soft tissue.
